What's that black thingy on the carb?

That  thing on the injectors? What's it's purpose? I've turned it out of curiousity but never had the guts to start the car with it in the different position. I'm guessing it has something to do with fuel delivery because it looks like it interacts with the fuel injector thingys.

well, its not a carb, its whats called CFI, Central Fuel Injection

and that black  is nothing more than a cap to cover the schrader valve

i actually think i dropped mine down the CFI...woops

oooh, well, I always considered anything that used a 'donut' air filter and looked like a carb, a carb.

thats where you would get owned if you were talking to someone about the car that didnt know them well
