seems ok, just make sure youre up to whats needed to get it going, and check everything over thoroughly. it says "minor rust" "good floors" but you always want to be sure, get on your hands and knees and have a look. check out the subframe in the engine bay too, ya want that to be there i think :hick:

maybe im missing something but even with the fuel tank not in and the one brake line missing, i think $550 for that is great. ive never seen one up close and personal but they seem real loaded and of course its got the H.O. engine, always a +.

2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

i've riden in one of these and down here in ga they're abundant, maybe not lsc, but i think out of the fox bodies those do look the most sinister.  with the HO already in it, although its an auto, 550 is a good price.  it'll end up prolly 1500 dollar car wto make it right, but i'd say its worth it.  they're  nice.

So, what is that "SOLD ON BILL OF SALE ONLY" part? Does that mean there's no "title" with it? Does he actually own it?

Up here in the land of ice and snow, when we decide to sell the old dogsled to get a shiny new snowmobile for the summer, we give the buyer one copy of the registration papers (proof of ownership), along with a big multi-copy Transfer/Tax form.

Down there, with all the "no title" sales I read about, what happens if you pay your money, go to the DMV to put in your name, and find out it was stolen and the seller has vanished? I guess I just don't understand your "system".
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Nice looking car.Parts are getting hard top find for these also.It comes with the tank and straps,so you only need a brakeline. That's not a big deal.If it were near me,I'd buy it,yank the drivetrain, and part out the rest.I could make more than it cost on parts alone.I'd keep the 5.0 for something else.

i hope its not like that in ri, cause i have a car in my driveway i have the original title but it was never signed over to me, i just was given the car. Ill ask him about it when i go today. i mean it needs a brake line and a gas tank put in so hes had it for awhile.

usually if a car is retitled in ga its branded with "Salvage" which must be inspected before it gets the title and drive.  in parts of ga that means makin the car run well, pass emmissions, and is structurally sound.  i've known people to do it with hondas and acuras.

why wont mom let you drive the '66? that would be SICK to cruise around in, you posted pics and its obviously not like it was when it left the factory but its good enough that it would look real cool goin down the street!!! lemme guess "too much power"? in that case i guess she has a point, thats a legitimate concern, just prove that youll be responsible and not reckless and ill bet she'll lay off soon enough.

nope to much for insurance it would end up costing me over 3k a year to insure it, plus at 12 mpg highway i would be putting massive amouts of gas in it, so in a way its good
