Pulled Two Codes...Both EGR Related...suggestions? Reply #87 – March 17, 2007, 09:21:29 PM Ok, I changed the plugs today, but the problem I was hoping to maybe eliminate is still there. I have a strange Idle. When I'm driving around town, and come to stops, the idles fluctuates. The I can see the tach going up and down. It's not a great change, but it moves from about 1k down to maybe 850-900 and back up. Over and over and over again. It ALWAYS does this. Never a solid constant idle, just up and down over and over. This sound familiar to anyone?Here is a Video of me starting the car and letting it sit in park. As you can see, the tach does strange stuff. near the end of the video you see the green Firm Ride light come on. That's me applying the brakes and shifting to park. The tach drops to "normal" 1k.
