I bet some pre-dusk shots would really make the colors on that car pop.

Yes Car photo rule!  Don't turn the tires into the Camera!  Turn the tire so that the camera is getting a direct shot of the wheel itself.  Big black tires create a big black eye soar.

Another thing I see with Bears first photo.  Try not to take pictures of the dark side of the car.  You can play with light and highlight parts of the car like Karl did with his first shot.  His picture the front end and all the details "pop" out at you.

Bear your second and fourth shots are great.  the third would be great if the tire was turned so the camera catches the wheel at the same angle it does on the second shot.

Watch the shadows like you have in pictures 5 and 9.

1/2 hour before and a short time after sunset nets "Beautiful" light.  Makes the details of the car stand out (really shows py cars too :( ) as Chuck mentioned about Karl's car.

Yes, I discovered that at Cat Jam - my first opportunity to take lots of pictures of this car when it was clean.

Thing is, I need several things to occur simultaneously:
clean car
clear, sunny evening
free time
good background
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"
