Random. What do you have for a system?

Deck: Alpine 9833 (2004, last quality year for Alpine)
Front Speakers: Infinity Kappa 62.5i
Front Amp: Orion 3002
Sub: Sound Splinter RL-P 12"
Sub Amp: JL 500/1

No need for speakers in the rear deck or dash.  It's more to spend on equipment and decreases sound quality.

Pioneer DEH-P6800MP head unit
Pioneer IB100 II I-POD adapter
Pioneer 3-way 6x8s in rear
Stock dash speakers
Kenwood KAC-7252 amplifier
(2) 10" Audiobahn AW1051T's

Subs are currently in a bandpass style box. They hit much deeper in that box vs. a sealed box which surprised me. That box might not have had enough volume though, maybe.

I want to replace the front speakers and add some to the doors, just haven't got that far yet.

I just see this thread, time to Me...

Dash: is a piezo motorola 3" trimmed with a capacitor.
Doors: stock 6.5" premium sound speakers.
Back: Bose 6x9" 60oz magnet, three way.
Amplifier: Sherwood 240watts (4x60) with 4x1f capacitors.
Equalizer: stock Ford eq from premium sound system.
deck: clarion from Honda 2002 cd player, will change for another clarion black face (to match with the dash) cd/mp3 model DB345MP (change before i'll go the Bird out of the garage)...

Running B+ wire is a #6 strand gauge from the batt to the amp, with a 40amp fuse inline near solenoid switch input (from batt).

Not a big output sound, but so much to ear the music at 100mph all windows open:evilgrin:

That's it, and no more..:hick:

I've got:

Deck: Kenwood Excelon CD/MP3 (I forget the model number)
Door speakers: Pioneer Premier 6" two-way
Rear Speakers: Pioneer Premier 6"X8" three-way
Subwoofer: JL Audio 12" in trunk-hogging box
Amp: Alpine 4-channel something-or-other driving the door and deck speakers
Sub Amp: PPI two channel bridged mono driving the sub
Wiring: All stock speaker wiring was used - I opened up the factory amp, cut the connectors off it, and wired them into the Alpine amp's outputs. Two 6-gauge wires run from battery through passenger compartment to trunk for the two amps and two sets of RCA low-level cables running from the deck to the amps. The amps themselves are mounted on the stock amp mounting plate.

Future: I will be replacing the head unit with one that has a USB port so I can connect thumb drives or my MP3 player (without having to use a headphone jack type input). If I can't get one with a rear USB port I'll open it up and run wires out the rear so the media can be hidden in the glove box, not hanging out of the dash. The subwoofer will be mounted in a false trunk floor like Eric did with his 'vert.

You getting rid of one?

In the 88 I had
Deck: Panasonic MP3 Sirius Ready
Dash: none wires cut and I never bothered repairing it.
Door: Pioneer 6 3-way
Rear: Pioneer 6x9's 3-way

all thats in the Tib now so it has stock everything all the way around with a busted aiwa cassette head unit.
The 88 is going to go back to stock. I want the interior to look showroom fresh with no modifications.
