I dont find the new edge cougar to be anything but a disgrace to the cougars name.

Don't rely on that list. I've been seeing lists passed around message boards for the past two years for that game. Some of them were spoofs (one list actually included a Mark VII LSC).
The actual number of cars won't be that long...

That's the one thing I hated about GT3: Too biased towards imports

Don't worry about too biassed towards imports. Do some research on the game. Yamauchi has gone above and beyond this time. His three objectives were to create more realistic environments off-track; give it a more human feel by giving a higher level of AI to the opponents, creating 3D rendered spectators that move around, even out onto the track in Rally, and finally puts a driver in the car, allowing REAL droptops; and wanted to give the same numer of cars that was in GT2, and have a far more international list. Meaning, MORE DOMESTICS! Here are a few from the pre-release.

Those are just the ones that ign caught on the pre-release demo that hit shelves in Europe and puppiesan. (we're not going to get it) If you go to the official GT4 website, it says you even get to race the Ford Model T. "GT4 will feature over 650 cars vs 150 in GT3."

Click on Car Element on the left of the screen, then the first image at the bottom of the next screen for an official partial car list. This isn't even close to all of them. I just checked the puppiesan section, and there were only 200 cars listed there. You know there will be a lot more than that, esspecially considering the fact that they tell you you'll get the Model T, then don't put it on the list. I bet there are going to be a lot more historically significant cars from the US. The entire list only accounts for 383 of the over 650 cars.

I really hope the game has a large variety of mustangs and an equally large variety of domestic cars.. why put in an accord when an impala or regal GS is just as quick (or quicker) and just as fun to drive?

dude those pictures look better then when i take a picture. that one with the Beetle looks near real. to bad they didnt put a 86 thunderbird in there. or sence its online they could have a make ur own or ... well i dont know. but an 86 thunderbird 302 would be nice on there. but of course with a little bit more ponies :)
