My first car is the '85 Cougar in the Banner.  I was 21 when I bought it.  I bought it as a rebelious move, as I was actually going out that day to buy a 4cyl. Stang that was for sale out in the country, as my mom said I couldn't have a Mustang.  Well the broad was holding it for her nephew to come up with the cash, so me and a buddy were driving back through town when he reminded me of this car on a dealers lot for the same price.  Long story short....  reluctantly bought it, (as I didn't really like cougars then, but another buddy had an '83 3.8L "XR-7:dunce: (so he thinks)") brought it home, fell in love with it, still have it.

Since then I have owned over 25 Cougars, 10 thunderbird, 1 351 powered grand marquise, and 4, 5.0L Mustangs
