Some quick calculator work with coolcats.net reveals roughly 675,000 Cougars for the Fox era. Take that number and devide it by at least 2 to account for cars that have been sped/wrecked, then devide it by the number of us there are. His boss pointed outside to a CHERRY baby blue '57 Chevy BelAir convertible with a white top that some old guy sold to the wrecking yard after it blew up its 283. Even in the '70s, that was a helluva score! Later that day while he wasn't paying attention, the forklift operator stuck it with the arms, lifted it into the crushing bay, and by the time my dad noticed the fins going down into the box, it was too late. :cringe:I'm a '50s Mopar NUT and the things he's told me about popping the old-style Hemis out using a forklift and a chain made me absolutely cry... Someone needs to find out where that yard is so we can get some parts from them there was definatly a LONG line of foxes there. Maybe they are just old cars to some but its downright criminal to crush and destroy cars with good parts left, those quarter windows new are about $500 a pop.
