i ment if with that set up. And i agree, i wouldn't bother working if its that cold, but be happy u have a garage, all the work im gonna have to do is outside, all i have is a shed i converted into a small shop.

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

windex bottle and gas,, simple as that

get this spark thing done.

the vac advance needs to be blocked off for now to set the timing.
blocked off meaining the vac line from the carb to the dizzy.

after its set, the hook it up.

I'm thinking my wiring is bad. It is just rigged in. IF I work on it today, I'll do some good wiring on it. Then prime the carb and pray.

Ok, Edelbrock is in the mail, and I scored today. I got a set of TRX wheels for free, and got a 85 Stang' GT guage package. Will this even work in our cars. If you hold it up it looks like it would fit in the 84 but I don't wana rip the dash apart just to find out it's a no. If it is does anyone have pics, and if no what do I do with it. Also on my found list today was a 85 Preimum sound speaker set and factory PS headunit. Those come home tomorow maybe.

Just looking at them and how they mount, I'm going to say maybe, with some mods, will it fit. It looks like these sit on the sterring coloum, where as the factory bold to the dash. Also to be noted, I will not have a " shift pattern" to look at. Mine doesn't work now so you have to "feel" you way into gears so thats no loss. And I have to go get the trim peice for it or make one so it looks right.

I guess a digital cluster of a Lincoln town car or MK VI will look better in Your Fila, and are the same size too...

IMO, I'm not really a digital person. I wanted an buttstuffog cluster from a T/c before I found these. No real loss if they don't fit. I'm willing to cut/mod but  don't wana go overboard.

Swap in an '86-'88 dash and Sport gauges.Then you have it all.
'88 Sport--T-5,MGW shifter,Trick Flow R intake,Ed Curtis cam,Trick Flow heads,Scorpion rockers,75mm Accufab t-body,3G,mini starter,Taurus fan,BBK long tube headers,O/R H-Pipe, Flowamaster Super 44's, deep and deeper Cobra R wheels, Mass Air and 24's,8.8 with 3.73's,140 mph speedo,Mach 1 chin spoiler,SN-95 springs,CHE control arms,aluminum drive shaft and a lot more..

It may be more work,but then you have 3 options,standard gauges (digi and buttstuffog,all buttstuffog like the Sport,and all digi),plus,the '86 to '88 dash looks cooler.Now,go get one and swap it in.I really don't know why you're still sitting here.go on,start the swap........go on.

Cost bud. Thats whats keeping the car un-finished. IF I had the parts it would be done. Thats why I'm trying to adapt with what I have/can get. For the sake of trying it, I'll pull the old one out tomorow and see how this works. For a few bolts it's worth a try. The worst I see happening is that I have to put it back. Now for sure, can anyone tell me if this wil work or not. All theorys will be proven tomorow.
