Nice Run 5.8fastcat......

I wish I could have a full quarter mile time for me 2 weeks ago at the Fords At Englishtown but they only let us run the 1/8 mile due to high high winds......
With drag radials on the back and the winds against me I was able to pull off a 1.72 60'ft time with a time of 7.5 @ 93 mph.... that would equate to about an 11.7 quarter mile time..... not too shabby for an AOD, drag radials and High winds.....

Maybe I'll do better this weekend at the Street Wars competition..... american vs. Imports....

i am going to bring it to the local hangouts here in the motor city on the weekends but im not gunna open her up no the street...just not safe and there are plenty of tracks around her to be responsible about it. i am going to weld a bar inbetween the upper controlarms{after bowing them} to make it one rigeid peice and iliminate axle movment individual to oneside {and it will have a spool haha} this thing will have to be almost stoped to take a turn for lowers im debating building my own{im a DIY guy till i die} if not ill box the lowers...get a baseline to see what the system does in that condition and see what i need to do after that. of course all new busings regardless. but for the most part itll be riped up on the track.

5.8fastcat..... I have a Vortech s-trim on there witha powerpipe.... right the blower is in stock trim making around 10 - 11 psi... I was waiting until it's out of warranty to upgrade the pulley to make some more boost, but even then I'll be pushing this block to the max....

My main concern right now is the trans.... I'm in the process of getting parts together for the TKO 600 conversion....

Yeah, Dosn't take much boost to push the stock Blocks.

I've been down that road, it ended badly.  LOL

Hey,

I'm happy with the hp i'm making right now, I can't wait till the trans conversion and then start thinking about the 331 or 347 stroker with an (R) block... Right now I'm happy with the crazy 308 that I built....
Best of luck with your awesome car.... I'm excited to get the new poly motor mounts that Chuckw is making for me.... I rip through the stock ones like candy.

best of luck with everything
