I'll probaly run my bike and the Fila if we all go racing. Should we try to rent the track out for a day, or just mob it if we go?

Um, you have to make plans months in advance if you're going to rent the track for a day. You can't just "swing by" the track because they have other events going on. Now I don't know if it will be like this in '07, but in years past Test-n-Tune was on Friday nights. Last year it was $10/head to run all night (average 2-3 runs tops). The track has been for sale for many years, though, and from what I understand it may have just recently been sold. The only commitment they have this year is to the Super Nationals. Everything else is said to be up in the air.

So until there are better details about what's going on at Quaker City in '07, we can't really make any plans for it.

The only thing I see is bracket racing for the nights of CJ. Should we consider this part of the fun or mearly an idea?

I think that would be awesome, race each other have some good fun doing it. Just for fun, just to see what each others cars can do.

just food for thought...

how about we pick an all you can eat buffet somewhere, then each person/family is responsible for their own food and money. it will be real easy for the wait staff....only having to do refills and such. also less stress for eric. just a thought. i hope to be there this year. been trying for the last 2 years now to go. but the bird just isn't reading yet.......but still working every weekend on it. :birdsmily: :birdsmily:

About the racing bit... I know there is no way I would drive 6 hours to get there and go racing. If my car broke, I'd be pretty much stranded.
I'm sure others feel this way too.

If there was large enough interest and a bundle of us would be racing, I would certainly spectate but that's it.
