help with throttle cable n kickdown cable September 04, 2006, 04:05:58 PM hey i need help with my 5.0 throttle cable. Right now i just swaped a 5.0 on to my tbird that originally had a 3.8 . on the 5.0 i have teh throttle cable bracket but no throttle cable . i have the old 3.8 throttle cable and the otehr cable witch i think is the kick down. my question is i since i will be changing the throttle cable to a 5.0 throttle cable do i have to change the other cable as well i think which is the kick down??? let me know thanks in advanced :) Quote Selected

The other cable in addition to the TV cable and throttle cable is the cruise control cable. So far I think the V6 is different than the V8 one, but I'm going to try and make the V6 one work.
