okay, feel funny about posting this but I feel I need to.. Razz

I am asking for help, not for me, but one of my wife's best friends. You don't have to help, you can ignore me, laugh at me, but I would like you to read on at least, if only for your own family and friends.

My wife's best friend has come down with Lymphoma. Yep, cancer. She was sick for a few months and couldn't figure out what it was. Then one day she fell to the ground with a pain in her side and got rushed to the ER. The doctor happened to order a CT scan and BINGO, she has severe stage 2 lymphoma.

I would encourage all of you to make sure that if you have friends or family that are sick for awhile, even if they don't have insurace try to get them to the doctors. She was lucky to have it caught in time to most likely stop it (still not the best prognosis, but greater than 50%).

Now for the help. She is a gradulate law student, divorced, and no longer even with a part time job. No insurace and her family can only do so much. So she thought she would make some shirts and stuff on cafepress.com to try to get a little money. She doesn't want donations. She isn't that kind of person, so she wanted to do this. I am asking if you feel like helping out a stanger pop a look over and maybe think about buying something, if not, maybe just wish her well in your prayers to what ever god you have (if you have one and pray) or just give your family an extra long hug and realise how precious they are. She named her tumor ethel (easier to talk about then "my tumor") so most of the shirts (designed by my wife I might add Smile ) are of the nature of "Scr@w Ethel", but there are buttons with medical symbols of a more modest nature.
The buttons have the most mark up so she will get the most money from them if you feel like buying. If you don't feel like buying, well then don't, no one will think less of you. If fact, I think more of you for having even read this. Sorry for the long and sorta radom post, but. well.. life's a b sometimes.
