bad spot to be in, lesson's learned, and yah, it still makes you super hot when you get caught though.

if anything, the impound lot is the biggest scam of all.
AND most cities don't have contracts with tow companies for city stuff. I had my capri fall into an open grate when parking once (was dark) and I HAD TO PAY TO GET IT OUT. but I didn't have cash, couldn't get to an ATM and they didn't take check or credit.. that is a scam to get my car into thier lot for storage fee's if I ever heard it. oooo... i was so pissed, i made a sargent come down and deal with it, i was ready to kill.

I will agree with the impounds being a scam... We were putting a cell phone site up on building roodtop in downtown Calgary last year and we had two company trucks meter parked on the street in which you had to be gone by 3:30 pm, my guys came down at about 3:40 and the trucks were already gone, 6 guys standing there going WTF????. For a 1ton flat deck and a 3/4 tonne pick up cost me $320 bones to get out 45 mins later. I know we pushed it by 10 mins but they obviously were waiting for 3:30 to strike and bang hook em up and go! s!
