Hello again (Tbird232ci)

Just wanted to say hello again, its been a while! Looks like Eric got another cool toy!  I've been stupid busy writing for http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com  but now's the time to get back in touch with my foxy birdcat side.

My Cougar's been out for a while, getting lowering springs, a few new suspension parts, new Alpine Type R rear speakers, tranny and P/S flush...and a 1986 LSC 5.0HO engine plate to look a little more vintage-correct. One of these days it'll get sequential tails too. :)

The main reason I wrote was to call out Tbird232: a set of black LSC SE wheels has your name on them at Lincolnsonline.com, dude.

I think he said the other day that his hard drive took a dump on him, (porn overload, probably) :p so I don't know when you'll see a reply from him.

Alpine Type R rear speakers

i just put a set of these in the mustang. rear 6X9 and front 6X8 components. they sound much better than stock, but realy, realy need an amp. im somewhat happy with the components, as they added a tweeter to the front but the rears could be better for the money.

Just give him a call and tell him to go to the Library, go to Lincolnsonline, and buy those black BBS wheels! :)

Shame: those Type Rs are pretty awesome for sure. Gotta have a good amp, though.  My Lanzar amp blew out my old Kenwoods, so off I went to Type R land.  Thank goodness you can't see the speakers, I'm less than thrilled that there is a "Type R" part in my car.  :p But these are worth it.

H-town in da house!  There are a lot of Fox, MN-12, Panther and Lincoln folk in this town, representin' rich Man's Mustangs like crazy. One of these days I'll arrange a meet and everyone's gotta attend.

Shame: please tell me you didn't use those ricer grilles that came with them.  Those met the business end of my hammer. :)

Tbird232: sweetness.  Awaiting installed pics dude. :)
