I Just Bought A C4 tranny!!!

hey guys i just bought a c-4 form ebay.. its need the flywheel and teh torque converter .. what i want to know is do u think i should just beef up an aod or stay with this c-4??? which would be better for racing wise????  here is the link

oh by the way my magnaflow mustang exhuats n my bbk induction intake came in today  :) im happy!!!  im waiting fo rmy bbk shorties now.. pics up soon  let me know

i think you should put a TH350 in it ;)


nahh you can build up an AOD to handle it, but it'll cost a lot more than the C4 will....but you'll have an OD gear, so you can run a steeper rear ratio, and turn less RPM on the highway....it's tradeoff dude...what do you plan on using the car for, strictly racing, or more for street/highway cruising?

more like street racing burning ricers n otehr cars but will use this car some times ot go to work

it would be fine for occasonal (sorry I can spell worth a ) trips, maybe even good for city driving, but I'll bet it sucks for the freeway. If you already bought it, throw it in. But, your stock aod will hold up fine for a while at least. Save the c4 till you need it and build it up for drag racing while it sits. its alot easier before you need it then now.
