Interchanging EGR Valves?

Can I use my EGR valve from a stock 1988 5.0 (50mm TB) and put it on a stock 1987 5.0 HO (60mm TB)?  I just got an HO to replace my factory intake and the EGR valve on it is damaged - don't want to buy a new one if I don't have to.

Let's see. Rockauto.com says.....

88 5.0 SO (Bird)  Motorcraft CX1230A
87 5.0 SO (Bird)  Motorcraft CX1230A
87 5.0 HO (Must) Motorcraft CX1230A

88 5.0 SO (Bird)  ACDELCO Part # 2149094
87 5.0 SO (Bird)  ACDELCO Part # 2149094
87 5.0 HO (Must) ACDELCO Part # 2149094
(2 different types listed, all with sensor are 9094's)

Looks the same to me. :D
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

1988 5.0 Bird, mostly stock, partly not, now gone to T-Bird heaven.

Thanks.  Why didn't I think of doing that?  Looks like I'm good to go!
