there IS a difference between coupe/convert. wings and the hatch versions...

Cervinis make, (or made anyway) a Cobra style spoiler for coupes/verts...i bet one of those would look good...
There's guy on here that has a Stang GT spoiler, but IIRC, he said there was some mods done to make it fit good...

coupe/vert are the same

the hatch has a differant angle they are built on and look goofy on a flat trunk

I have a convertible wing made by Cervinis for an 87-93 stang.  They're too long for the '85 trunks, not sure if the 86-88's are any longer?  If so, I've got 1 brand new 4/S, still has the tags and everything on the wing!

heres a few pics :D  looks to me like its the same spoiler for coupe and hatch models

I dunno much about Mustangs, but it looks to me as though if you mounted the spoiler pictured on the above Steeda hatch on the 'vert you wouldn't be able to open the trunk. In the pic of the Steeda above, note how the spoiler goes right to the ends of the hatchback. Now look carefully at the trunklid on the convertible. Look just to the right of the blue oval. See the trunk "cut line"? Now imagine the hatch-style spoiler mounted to that car and picture trying to open the trunk :D

I think it's this 1, but tomorrow I'll double check for sure, along with pictures my actual wing versus a photo from the Cervinis webpage.
Cervini Wing, Part#204, Price:$250.00,
Material: Fiberglass
The Cervini Wing requires holes to be drilled for installation. The wing includes T-stems which simplify locating the holes to be drilled. The wing comes complete with hardware and gaskets that seal the holes. On convertible models that are equipped with luggage racks, the wing is installed over the 3rd brake light which is located on the trunk lid. "Cervini's" logo is embossed in the wing.

What if someone did a "Steeda thunderbird". Or even a "Roush Crown Vic". Roush does mustangs and trucks, Saleen does mustangs, Steeda does too. Just a thought. I'll talk to my freind who has some extra parts from Steeda and Roush in his garage and see ware we can take this.

Neither of those spoilers would look any good on a Cougar.......
