Mk VII Calipers....

Will the Mk VII calipers fit the '88 TC spindles? If not what mods do I need to do to make tham fit?

Yes they will bolt on.  You are planning to change your M/C as well, right?  The stocker will not have enough capacity to handle the larger bore calipers.

That's the plan. Either a Mk VII M/C or a Cobra.

The Mark VII doesn't have the same style master cylinder as our cars. THey have a Hydro Boost setup that runs off the P/S pump.

I guess Cobra it is then. :)

That fits better with the overall scheme of my plan anyway.

The only reason I know they are different is becasue I did the same thing. I went to change my master cylinder and started to take the one off my parts Lincoln and notice it was completly different. :hick:

Actually, it run uses a hydraulic pump, has no ties to the power steering pump, or any other system in the car.

Indeed. I don't need to add another pump to the engine.

S'ok, 'cuz the TC and Mark have an electric pump built onto the M/C as part of the ABS system :hick:

So...  I'd just have another drain on my alternator. Eh, that's ok.

Next they'll tell me it runs on AA batteries. :hick:

Actually, two 9 volts.

Batteries not included. Some assembly required.

Just my luck they'd go dead at the end of the quarter mile.

So if I move to Indiana, they'll last longer?
