CAI for our cars

I know that on the old site (before the switch to go daddy) we had a thrtead about Cold air intakes and where you could find ones for our cars. Now that i am employed once again i am again intrested did a search on the fourm for both CAI and cold air intakes and came up empty. Can anyone remeber or still have links to online stores where i can purchase CAI for my 5.0 AOD.

Mustang cold airs definatly dont fit thunderbirds or cougars.
It's Gumby's fault.

You know, you guys could always build your own cold-air intake since it's pretty easy to do with a speed-density car. I made a really nice looking 3.5" mandrel bent CAI for my car with a couple aluminum mandrel bends from racepartsolutions.com. Cost me $50 for the bends, which I polished up a bit, and it looks pretty  good. Of course, it requires a little fitting & cutting, but it's not hard, just takes a little time.

Another place you can get bends is http://www.globaltecheng.com/elbows.htm

which ones are you talking about?

i have one from bbk (mass air) on my car and it fits fine. and i'v seen others from mac for speed density that fit also. this is all providing his car is a v8 or at least an 88 6 cylinder. they should fit any 86-88 5.0 and 88 6 cylinders with the new intake and the battery on the drivers side.
