shaved trunk locks May 07, 2006, 12:22:07 AM i want to paint my car this summer since i have a gray primer front bumper and header panel but when i do this i want to shave the handles and the trunk lock. i see how to do the doors but i want to keep the keypad but move it to a new location and i want to shave the trunk so when i get my amp noone can drill out the lock and run away. has anyone shaved there trunk or know what the easiestway is to do it. shaved trunk locks Reply #1 – May 07, 2006, 12:48:34 PM I would asume that it isn't much differnent than the door looks. Cut out a plug and weld it in then the normal grinding and body work should make it look great. My Idea would be to put one of those led brake lights across the trunklid. Quote Selected
