'92 F-150

Here's my 92 Ford truck, these are some old pics, around the time that I bought it, back in '99...

So far, I've put on clear corners and markers, and some diamond/euro headlights are coming next, followed by some decent tires and factory alloy truck wheels...y'know, those aluminum wheels, with the row of holes, kinda look like centerlines..lol
The interior is rough, hell, the whole truck is rough, I've gotta get another driver side door and front fender, and fix a big dent in the pass. side, where a big-assed buck deer decided to leave his mark on my truck! :flame:
It's got 230,000 miles, but it'll still leave black marks as long as ya hold the gas down.
The transmission (M5R2) needs a rebuild, as the synchros are going bad, and it pops out of second on occasion.
Probably tackle that this fall, along with a track lock, and a new bed.
It has 3.55 gears, too. Since it's a shortbed, I'm kinda considering putting a Flareside bed on it. I always did like the way they looked.
Sorry for the giant pics, don't have a photo edit progarm on this comp...

That's not a bad looking truck. I really like the body styles of the early 90s F-Series. My uncle has a bright red '93 that he bought new. This thing still looks like it rolled off the showroom floor and he just rolled past 100,000 miles last month. I especially like the warning tag inside the drivers door that says the truck is not to be used as a rescue vehicle.
He's gone through 3 radiators though :shoothead

Oh yeah, it's a 5.0, nothin else for me, unless it'd be the 5.8, lol
Too bad the truck isn't nearly as nice lookin now, as it was in those pics, but then again, it's had a rather rough 120,000 on it from then to now.
In fact, not 20 minutes ago I was gougin' on it pretty hard on my gravel road....Gawdam I sure miss drivin' a Ford...hopefully here in a coupla weeks I'll either be driving it, or the Thunderbird again..
I'm tempted to replace my struts, balljoints, and do all the front end bushings with urethane, and fix the exhaust (or the lack of, rather), and get it re-licensed. V6 and all, even.

Scott are you talking about the grill and lights or the TTB suspension under those things?  The TTB is one of the best 4x4 designs ever, with desert racers no matter what kinda vehicle they drive having a TTB setup under there racer.  Some vehicles are getting up to 2 feet in suspension travel with those things!
