So..another delay

As you may know, I've been gathering the parts for a T-5 swap, including of course, the transmission itself. Or at least, I attempted to, because although I won the auction for the transmission almost a month ago, it is still not here, while almost everything else except pedals and crossmember is.

A week after winning it, and calling to make payment about three times, I finally managed to give them my credit card info, and they said it would be shipped ASAP. Well, for one thing my card still hasn't been charged, and they delayed and delayed until the 5th of April when I called again and was told FedEx would be picking it up that evening. So I get the tracking # from them, which only brings up "Shipping info has been transmitted to FedEx" every time I attempt to track it - but it has an estimated delivery date of April 11th, and I've seen it do this before and yet have the package delivered properly.

Coincidence or not, my bellhousing + blockplate also shipped the 5th, with the same delivery date. So today, with much antition, I go to the mail center here at the Uni and I find only one package. The transmission still hadn't arrived. Pretty pissed by now, I got on the phone with FedEx only to find out the tranny had never been picked up in the first place. Called the seller, they say something about a fluid leak from the tranny, and it will be shipped today - which finally did happen, I have FedEx confirmation of that. Hopefully it will be here by the end of next week, and I hope to get the swap done before school ends.

I am still puzzled about the credit card thing - I mean they have my info, but I never got charged for it. I wouldn't mind if I never did

i know i won a engine off ebay once and after a month i told them to give me my money back becuase they never shipped it so hope thats not whats going to happen with you man

I hope you used paypal because if you did you should go through paypals complaaint center. Ordered a psp off ebay- i gave the guy like one month then i was like screw this. So i went and filed a complaint with ebay and paypal and got my money back in 15 days.

Hey, it finally got here, it looks good and everything, all I have to do now is buy a front bearing retainer, and hopefully install it sometime in the next two weeks.

I know the feeling; I hate waiting for parts to arrive! I'm glad to hear that your tranny arrived, though. Have fun! :D

Haha I won the Katrina Relief raffle over at TCCoA in like last November, and still haven't gotten my parts. I know how it feels.
