Driveshaft April 17, 2006, 06:40:43 PM Just curious if the driveshaft for the 3.8 and the 5.0 are the same or is the one for the 5.0 a little beefier? As well...what kind of HP and torque can a stock driveshaft take on a regular basis before shes kaput! Any links for driveshafts for our cars if i need to upgrade? Driveshaft Reply #1 – April 17, 2006, 06:50:47 PM Driveshafts are the same. There are no direct replacements. You usually break axles before a driveshaft. Quote Selected
