It think would go rather well with the "Car Show" theme of the weekend (for obvious reasons ) . Though looking at the locations I don't believe that the Boardman location could handle a group our size as it's an "express" version. However the Original Quaker Steak is only about 20 some odd miles north of where the car show is hosted. Though it would bit a little bit more driving, I personally believe that it would be worth it. I know from my experience in going there that they are a "family" orientated establishment and i'm sure they could easily handle the amount of people we would have. Also there the possibility that they would maybe enjoy/be supportive of having a mini car show in the parking lot. Granted I could be completely wrong about that part, but for some reason I recall them actually having cruise-ins there. But overall I believe that even the outta-towners might enjoy the experience more so than Jillians. I guess to sum it up, my vote would go to Quaker Steak. Oh, and it would be funny to see Alex's, and pretty much anyone elses', reaction to the atomic wings !!!!! Quote Selected

This Year's CJ Eatery Reply #19 – March 28, 2006, 12:09:50 PM Quoteit would be funny to see Alex's, and pretty much anyone elses', reaction to the atomic wings !!!!!Oh...I know that look! After CJ04, Alex sent me an e-mail that I'd accidentally left my digital camera in his car (D'OH!). Instead of shipping it across the border, he said he'd rather deliver it in person. In return I treated him to Atomic wings at Quaker in Sharon, PA. It took everything in Alex's being to admit that for the first time in his life, he met a wing that overpowered him. Such pretty red cheeks, Alex! Warmed my hands by the glow. You know...Quaker may be a great place to go on Sunday afternoon. Not trying to dash any ideas but that's kind of a far drive from the mall. After being baked in the sun all day, and it being a long day too, I'm trying to think of someplace between the mall and the hotels to make it less stressful for everyone. A 25-minute drive, through Boardman traffic, with sunburn, and being dead tired, is asking for a lot. Well, except for Bill, because he's always up for a drive and always has that perfect tan. But for everyone else, I don't know...we'd have to get some opinions on that. We could always order wings from the small Boardman express location across from the mall, pick them up while at Chili's, then go back to the hotel and eat. I don't think anyone would mind that.I did have an idea for a restaurant that is about 7 minutes from the hotels. There are some logistical problems with it...namely, I don't think we can physically get all the cars in the parking lot. Even if we did, getting back out onto the road and back to the hotels will be a major hassle. But the food is great and we can have the party room to ourselves. I'm a good friend of the owner, so...there is potential, but also problems.Perhaps what I'll do is get a list of all the restaurants between the mall and the hotels, and let everyone fight it out. :) Quote Selected
