5.0 or 5.8? Reply #15 – February 26, 2006, 10:34:06 PM Do a 351, you can always put the right EFI stuff on there later. A 5.0 HO sounds like a solid route too, though. Quote Selected
5.0 or 5.8? Reply #16 – February 27, 2006, 12:05:42 PM Go with a 5.0! But only because I have a 351W going in next summer... Quote Selected
5.0 or 5.8? Reply #17 – February 27, 2006, 12:15:42 PM Go 351 but do what nick did and use a carb intake and weld injector bungs on it. I would use an accel 4bl throttle body though. It would keep the height down. Quote Selected
5.0 or 5.8? Reply #18 – February 27, 2006, 11:47:14 PM Well i would say 351 hands down.I might be wrong but i'm sure a 91 351 would be roller.Just swaping in a b303 some head work and a good intake would wake that motor right up.I do side with the bigger is better idea's Quote Selected

5.0 or 5.8? Reply #22 – March 02, 2006, 11:03:13 AM i look at it this way. if you have the money for all the parts you need, oil pan, headers, ect, go for it. but if you have to spend the money on that stuff, go with a 460. you will not be dissapointed. gas mileage won't be fantastic but you will not be able to get the smile off your face! trust me :) Quote Selected
5.0 or 5.8? Reply #23 – March 02, 2006, 11:57:31 AM i say 5.0 HO for a DD. or at least swap over some parts from the HO to the SO and make it a good, reliable, low budget transportation. Quote Selected
