The first phase of the suspension upgrade has been completed...

...The ordering of the parts. I just blew a wad at CHE Performance :D I'm rather excited, as this is the first time I'm ever going to actually do to a car what I have always dreamed about doing. I've still got some other parts to get (shocks, struts, SFC's, STB) and of course I've got to remove the goodies from the TC. Anyway, in addition to the "Chucky Mounts" from Chuck and the electric fan from Sleeper Bird 87, here is what I've got ordered so far. Still haven't decided on whether I'll use the poly front control arm bushings, but at least I'll have 'em if I decide to...

Having a parts car and access to a front end loader and torches will help considerably - I'm gonna strip everything out of the TC (interior, glass, engine/tranny, usable body panels), then flip it over with the front end loader to make it easier to remove the suspension components. Where I am replacing all the rear control arms I'm not gonna be fussy about removing them from the TC - if the bolts won't come out with heat Ill cut the ed control arms. Once I have the rear end and front control arms out of the TC I can work on them while still having my '88 driveable :D

Also, the house I'm looking at buying has a garage. No more slogging about in the freezing cold for me :D:D:D:D:D

sort of the same deal here too. i cant store the car where i work on it for more than a few days. i have too wait till i have everything ready too go and hit it all at once. hopefully there wont be too many problems. as long as i can roll the car around im good. thats my only other option other than wating for the ground to harden late spring. my tranny should be here soon then i still need the clutch, bellhousing bloc plate, driveshaft and safety loop. i still need too have the rear diff welded, PC and assembled as well as decide what im going too do for an ignition....im gonna run out of money before im done :(
