Well they don't have belt-line molding on the sides between the wheelwells, I do know that much. Otherwise I'm not sure... the molding line that goes around the bumpers may also be different.

The rear quarters are also different. You can use 91-93 fenders but you have to drill a couple extra holes. As far as the front suspension and k-member, it is SVO only.Pray to GOD that you never need ball joints, I paid over 200 for a set of used lower control arms a couple years ago, I doubt they have gotten any cheaper. And thats if you can find them. You also will pay out the nose for brake parts just because it is an SVO.That is pretty much the reason I got rid of mine.
I have a chance to get another one but I dont think it would be worth getting due to the fact parts are so expensive.

Congrats on the SVO Crystal.  Since you are planning on modding the SVO but wantn good info, I would suggest turboford.  The SVOCA is run by a bunch of snob-asses (from what I understand..at least that's what the SVO guys on TF say :p...I don't know since I don't have an SVO...so no reason to visit the SVO site)  You'll get better tech at TF anyway.

Thanks guys :)

So far four eyed pride doesn't seem too bad. At least they pointed me in the right direction for some parts I need and only one guy made a comment on the birds :nono:

I've been debating swapping a couple pieces for my mods and keeping the stock stuff tucked away, still up in the air about that though...

83 Gt Turbo > SVO in regards to rare...by like a factor of 5....

They made VERY few GT Turbos in '83

theres an 86 svo areound here in a guys yard. its been there for a good 8 years since ive noticed it. i checked it out once. the interior was clean and it had 60 something thousand miles on it. it was his kids that died in a car accident. almost no rust at the time. it had a blown head gasket cracked windsheild and tail light. silver on grey interior. it hasnt moved an inch, eccept maybe down closer too the ground. the guy refuses too let it go. its a shame its wasting away like that...
