Blower Motor No Worky..... January 31, 2006, 07:20:31 PM Like the title says, it done got broke. The car is equipped with Automatic Temp. Control which when I self test it gives no error codes. Fuses are good so I guess it's time to swap out the motor. Before I swap it out I'm gonna ask. Is there anything that would cause it not to work? Quote Selected

Blower Motor No Worky..... Reply #3 – February 01, 2006, 09:51:11 AM There is a connector not far from the blower (orange-black)If you give it 12volts then the blower will either go or not.That would eliminate the speed regulator resistor and switch as part of the problem. Quote Selected

Blower Motor No Worky..... Reply #5 – February 01, 2006, 11:10:42 PM Yeah if you jump the fan and it works then check the wiring. If that's good then you probibly have a problem with the ECC head unit. I was at the wreaking yard about a month ago and there was an 86 Cougar and a 88 Turbo Coupe with ECC. I should have bought both units as spares for mine. Those things are hard to find. Quote Selected
