Alarm Many Questions

Well, I got a nice new black widow alarm system. I'm looking to install it myself as I have no money, and I'd like to learn how to do something like this. All of this will be installed in an 86 3.8 w/ keyless entry pad. I'm pretty sure I won't need a relay for the door locks, as my alarm as a reverse polarity option. My understanding on the dome light relay is that I'll need to add one under the right kick panel. I'm pretty sure I know how to install everything else except the trunk popper. I'm not exactly sure how to wire it up, and where the wires are run. And help is appreciated.

Trunk:
purple/yellow single wire, runs from the glovebox button down the right side door sill, under the back seat to the latch.
Apply 12v to pop trunk.

Locks:
Relays are under the passenger seat, wire bundle runs from one kickpanel back along door sill, under both seats, up to other kick panel.
Ground pink/yellow = lock.
Ground pink/ltgreen = unlock.

Dome:
black/ltblue
Somewhere in the right kick panel is handy for the relay.
You'll need to wire it to match your alarm, for "voltage sensing" door-opened trigger, etc.

Thanks for the help Master Blaster, I just need toget the connector for the relay that none of my auto stores have, and I should be ready to tear it apart. I was wondering wear you guys had mounted your alarms if you have them. It seems to me, the easiest place would be behind the glovebox. And if I can fit that panel that hangs of the glovebox back in, it shouldn't be that easily accessable. Also, for the door relays and such, would it be easiest to pull up the carpet to get to those wires and the like, becuase I know I can see them with just the seat out. I haven't really dug around much, but anything to simplify this install for n00b would help.

well master blaster hit it on the head!!

you will have to use a relay to kick the trunk release unless your alarm will do a 12V positve trigger which i have only seen on 1 alarm i have installed.

usually for a basic alarm i will install the brain up in the dash near the stearing column. This helps cuz 90% of the wiring is close to the driverside. When doing an alarm it really helps to " bench prep " the alarm. example would be when i start an install i figure out what all i am hooking up and where in the car the wires are located. then i screw the brain to my work bench ( some guys put it in a vise carefully) to secure it as you weed out the wires you don't need. take and go through the wiring 1 by 1 and decide if it is something you are using or not. If it is not being used i usually cut it but leave about 8-10"s incase you need to use one of them later down the road to add something. now try to grup the wires in 2 pairs that will be in a similar location ( such as most connections are in the Kick panel for door locks, door trigger/ dome light, and parking lights) so i would take the door trigger wire and parking light wire and paire them up. as for other connections like 12v const and ignition ( which is found at the steering column). Alarms are really simple but like i said preping it first makes it smoother install and less confusion. if you have any questions feel free to PM me or im sure master blaster couls help as well. it sounds like he knows his stuff
