Actually he's said quite a bit about how he made them.  He hasn't given step-by-step instructions with a materials list, but if you search through this board and CougarNuts I bet you could find enough information to get you started.

Yeah, that and what I've said at Cat Jam and other times with people.  That's why I used the phrase "somewhat tight-lipped" in my post above.
Hell, I thought that I've said enough at Cat Jam to pretty much lay it out.
I have mixed feelings about posting an entire write-up on the world wide web or in email replies right now.  Believe me, it is not a decision I easily made on my own.  I have asked several other folks within our community about whether or not I should come out with all the details right now and believe it or not, everyone who had something to say made some very sound, logical points for keeping it out of the open forums for now.
I don't want to be viewed as the type who doesn't share "how-to's" from people, that's what this community and forum is all about (speaking of which, I need to get under my car today to get exhaust pics for you all).
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

yah, but something like that you don't want ripped off and have someone else selling a kit 3 weeks from now. It is original and cool, and if someone wants the info bad enough, they can PM you for a start if you feel like giving it.

I like it, and I don't think you need to post a how to, cause it really was yours to begin with. now.. if you patent it, then SELL a manual.. well that is different :P hehe..

Welcome to the board.  That is a 1988 Cougar XR-7.  You can see more pics here under "After."  You can find a load of information on the '83-'97 Cougar at Eric's site, http://www.coolcats.net which can help you with knowing what to look for when buying one.

As far as the lights go, there really isn't any collective info on this finished mod out there and I thank you and everyone else here for their compliments.  I am also glad that folks don't mind me being somewhat tight-lipped for a while about this mod.
I think you will quickly find by browsing pictures on this board and CoolCats.net that my car isn't the only one around here with a unique modification.  The Fox Cougar's limited following of enthusiasts already makes it a unique car at local shows but those limited numbers haven't provided much attraction for aftermarket companies.  Rather than getting our custom parts and kits from the store, we often have to create them on our own making our cars even more unique.  Needless to say, you will see some pretty cool stuff around here.

I am curious though, how did CarDomain's image get on there?  Is my car posted on CarDomain somewhere?

Do you live in Maryland?

Again, welcome and if you get a Cougar or TBird, you will learn a lot from the people here.

thank you for the info thats what i was looking for the pic was in a email so i couldnt load it to the the site so i had to upload it to my cardomain site and use the link but the pic itsnt up for the public
