2.3 turbo parts January 24, 2006, 12:11:48 PM does any one know of / have a prefference on roller rockers for the 2.3 ?! any piston, rod and valve preffernce's ?! i'm looking to rebuild my 2.3 for my mustang...but use the 85 TC blockany one know if there's a difference in the 2.3 turbo blocks !? if you know of what parts..please post links Quote Selected

2.3 turbo parts Reply #2 – January 24, 2006, 01:00:33 PM You can't use roller rockers on a slider cam...The cranks/rods/pistons/blocks are all the same for the EFI turbo motors. The pistons and blocks are different on the carb turbo motors. The cranks/rods are the same as NA 2.3 motors.Why don't you be more specific about what you are wanting to do? 2.3 turbo parts Reply #4 – January 25, 2006, 12:46:14 AM i do apologize for not telling my future plans,i want to run 9.5:1 comp, and run about 18 LBS of boost, i've found a site that talks about high comp low boost = the same amount of poweri want to build a reliable 2.3 that get's some 20 MPG, but does the boost scootin boogie.my goal right now is about, 400 HP, i'd love to push as much as possable with the stock 35 lb injectors, i was gonna go with a a ajustable fuel pressure regulator, money is no object really...this project is over about 1 year, gettin like ..500 a week to put in to this project, so i don't really care,i was thinking about goin with a racer walsh head or some thing ...
