i almost have the engine in my bird ready to fire off. i got the heads put back on today and put in a new timing chain and gears (the chain had 1.5 in deflection) i just have some vacspooge lines to hook up and its ready to fire!!:tg: :grinno: :D :headbang: :cool:

Must be nice.  My T-bird is still sitting with the timming cover off, waiting for my Gear drive to come in the mail.  Hoping it gets here soon.

its alive!! i turned it over and it sputtered a little then i retarded the timing a little and it fired. i just have to put the radiator in and put on the cooling van and alternator and its ready to drive. :D :tg:

took it for a ride today. that car will boil the tires off the rims. it was alot of fun right up until i realised it has no brakes.:eek: i was able to get it stoped without wrecking but it was scary.

it acts like air in the lines so im going to start by bleading them. they wtart working after about 3 pumps.
