Trouble posting pictures December 10, 2004, 10:22:59 PM Why is it that I have so much trouble posting pictures? I've only had a computer about 2 months now and I hate this @#$% thing. I have done this on the user rides but now I try more and it keeps saying my picture files are too big. Very frustrating! I tried compressing the pics but the quality SUCKS so bad and this site still says they are too big. What the !$%@ am I doing wrong? Someone convince me not to throw this stupid box in the trash. Life used to be so simple. What ways can I shrink their file size? Quote Selected

Re: Trouble posting pictures Reply #8 – December 10, 2004, 10:59:44 PM K, well you can try using paint, that comes with virtually every version of windows. To resize with paint click on the image option on the file menu and select attributes. Then just start playing around with the number in the box till you get what you want. Remember not to save anything till you get what you want. If you don't like what you get just close the program and say no to saving it and it won't change the file. If this doesn't work there is a free program called irfanveiw http://www.irfanview.com/, that is a lot easier to use than most and should do exactly what you want. Just download it and play around with it and see what you get. Quote Selected
