The Demon's heart comes out! October 25, 2005, 05:32:08 PM Brought it to a friend's shop to do the heads/cam/intake/mass air swap. Decided that there was enough other stuff that needed attention to yank the motor out. The rear main had started leaking (Again!), intake manifold gasket had a real slow leak. And when the motor came out we noticed the left mount was bad. So on top of all the other goodies I have I got a new high volume oil pump and water pump as well. Pics below. Quote Selected

The Demon's heart comes out! Reply #2 – October 25, 2005, 06:20:26 PM Already had new ones stored away. I just swapped em on. Bill's gonna finish with the heads tonight while I'm at work. Looks like I owe somebody a favor...... On a side note the timing chain that was put in right when I got the car was trash. When I redid the crank and rods 30K ago it was well within limits...... Don't know what happened. Oh well... new one's already in with the cam. Quote Selected
