when closed it sucks

Just wondering why you say they suck when closed. Have you used them before? And they have the same internal design ast the dyno max lers.

Personaly I don't like the flow masters I took off my car they sounded like  to me.

Make sure you have you exhaust set up properly or you won't have a good sound no mater what lers you go with. You need real dual exhaust to get that "muscle car sound". If you just put lers on your stock exhaust then you won't get a much different sound out of the car. For example on my 88 5.0 Bird I have Stang shorty headers, full custom bent 2.25 duals with no crossover ("H") pipe, 2 cats (one on each side) and Flowtech Afterburner lers. They seem to be good lers. They have one big chamber in them to deaden the sound but they have internal pipes the same size as the external pipes. They have a nice rump rump rump at idol that isn't very loud but you can still hear it. When you step on the gas they open up and the car has a nice rumble to it on acceleration and crusing.

I'm going by a 15 ler dyno shoot-out by MM&FF.  They made more power than any other ler when opened, when closed, they were the worst.  The dynomax super turbo lers are almost identical in design, don't go out and buy a set to hack them up just yet...wait until I do mine and I'll let you know how it sounds.

I've have the warlocks on there now and have had the dyno max in the past. My :2c: I would rather have the warlocks than anything else I have had. I like to have a little rumble on the street but not enought to get the cops attention like the guys running single chamber lers.
