1992 SHO MTX, 13.37 @104, 99K miles, $4000 obo/trade

It's a 1992 (1st year of 2nd gen) Ford Taurus SHO. 3.0L DOHC v6 Yamaha engine, 5-Speed manual trans, EVERY option. Deep Jewel Pearl Metallic paint (JUST had it all touched up and the front bumper re-sprayed), Platinum full-leather interior, power moonroof, mirrors, locks, dual 12-way seats with lumbar AND side-bolster. EATC climate control, 9-speaker JBL CD system (400W, factory option, 8" sub), auto-dim headlights, reduntant controls, etc. ALL NEW R134a A/C system, heater works great, Bridgestone 225-60ZR16's on re-painted "Slicer" wheels. Mods: Custom 2.5" mandrel-bent H-Pipe and exhaust with NO CATS and factory "power pack" lers w/chrome tips (sounds like a Ferrari), Optima red-top, RAM Stage I Kevlar 9.5" street/strip clutch, FL professionally tinted windows, dash and center console painted same color as car, aluminum gauge bezel, silver SHO inserts, clear corner lights. ALL NEW: front &rear brakes (calipers, rotors, lines, pads, etc), rad, o2 sensors, all engine sensors, 90K tune-up incl adjusting valves, halfshafts w/CV joints, front suspension. The car has 99K miles on it, I am the second owner, I raced it ONCE at a 13.37 @104 MPH. It needs: radio (i lost the factory one), 3rd&4th gear synchros and fork. Whoa.  I knew SHOs were quick, but 13.37 @104 MPH!  Wow!

rod shifter, and remember the 13.37 is a MODIFIED (they had 4 cats!!!) SHO under ideal conditions on slicks.

I think you'd find that wheel is Ford's standard airbag wheel that was installed in just about everything in the early-mid 90's

It's the original wheel, same one in the 90-93 Stangs, etc. The 94-95 SHO had a really nice wheel.

I miss my SHO. I had a highly modified '92 MTX. Black on black even!
