check this engine Reply #4 – October 17, 2005, 06:42:27 PM yes it will. the seller is actually mustang parts specialists (MPS). it is NOT and easy swap nor is it a drop in. there is alot involved in swapping a modular into a fox...tis the direction my shiznitbox is headed in...god willing.Quotewould work but not worth 5 grand get a kit roushe motor with 450hp for that.im pretty much sure roush uses a gt engine (SOHC) wich doesnt realy interest me. that and anything with roush's name on it is overpriced....youd be better of with a modular GT driveline and a blower. check this engine Reply #6 – October 18, 2005, 05:54:27 PM i take that back. i guess they dont even produce a modular engine. i figured they might cause a neighbor has a roush stage 3 car. 5 grand for a complete drivetrain (al be it an automatic) including a 300 hp engine, that sweet shaker setup as well as, wiring, computer, fuel lines, and fuel tank, exhaust, driveshaft, hydroboost with master cylinder and lines, pedals, automatic shifter, speedometer. This setup also includes the front K member with A arms.sounds like a prett good deal to me. is it a steal, no. is it fair...i think so. if it was just the engine than yeah, the price is high.when considering a modular compared to a windsor based ford engine your comparing apples to oranges anyway. aftermarket modular stuff is extremely expensive. a SHM longblock is an easy 6 grand. the only way ill be able to afford a serious modular is to buy a used pullout. check this engine Reply #7 – October 18, 2005, 06:54:27 PM It is a fair price, but be prepared for a LOT of work. The wiring and hydroboost would probably be very time consuming. Quote Selected
