1987 T-Bird 5.0

It has a few things done to it, as I was using it as an autocrosser.... I decided to go with an mn12 instead.

The good:
B&M shift kit
B&M ratcheting shifter (not horribly useful on an aod, but cool looking)
urethane rack bushings
urethane strut mounts
urethane sway bar bushings (on 1 5/8 sway bar)
8.8 TC diff with discs, and 3.55 or 3.73s
Modded full digital dash (goes to 199mph)
a/c elimination kit
removed a/c (didn't work anyhow)
Alpine CD head unit
Grant GT steering wheel
2 sets of rear quarter glass, brand new with carlite stickers still on them, one has the chrome trim, the other set doesn't. The car currently doesn't have the chrome trim that goes around the car (it is blacked out like a TC).
Possibly a spare tranny out of the Mark VII
Car runs good

The bad:
it has some rust - the worst part being behind the driver door is a hole you can put a fist in.... I have a panel I cut outa a cougar parts car
The nose was banged up really bad (most parts were missing and the headlights were zip tied on) so there is the nose of a '88 cougar on there.....
The part of the digital dash that tells the gas milage stopped working... have the parts, but they are dead.
14" rims with BAD tires (they didn't like the autocross)
The headliner was a total loss, so I took it out
A seal is bad in the diff, so it will need to be replaced as well as the brake pads
Leaks power steering fluid.... No idea why. Has the 15:1 rack, which was really good for the autocross.... very responsive....

The best:
I have so many spare parts, it is kinda scary. I have enough parts to do a complete 5.0 HO conversion - computer, heads, 93 cobra cam, wiring, mustang headers, H-pipe with no cats, 2.5" dynomax exhaust (used), fuel injectors, etc.
The interior on the cougar was mint, so you get nice door panels, seats (front and back) carpet, dash, and plastic trim.
It has the drivers side manual seat (I installed)
Spare tail lights
Spare headlights (both sets aren't yellow)

TONS of misc stuff from a Mark VII I parted out as well, can't think of it all right now

Car is black (except the nose, which is white), has power windows and moon roof (all work well)
The interior is grey, looks horrible, but I was waiting to do the body work before I put it all in, so it is all there

Looking to get $800 BO for it.... if the price doesn't go down too much and you are within 2 hours, I can deliver. I have tons of pics, so let me know if you want to see anything in particular.
Thanks,

Nate

Well, the cam will work but you have to finish the HO conversion, as it has the HO firing order... Not too sure about parting it out quite yet.... I want to get the whole car and everything gone at once, but if I get no buyers, I will probably part out the whole car.... I am in Tolland CTG by the way.....

Thanks,
Nate

Also, the car has subframe connectors and a lower chassis brace...
I will include 88 mustang gt front spindles, rotors, and mark VII calipers, not installed...

I alao forgot to post location :toilet:

I am in Tolland CT - Can deliver if reasonable.

Thanks,

Nate

If you mean the seats, I converted to manual on the driver's side, as I was trying to save as much weight as possible. I have a mint set of door panels, and I even still have the interior plastic panels that go around the back window from the cougar... The door panels are very close to perfect. The back seats are very nice, as are the front seats. The only problem with the front seats are that I have a B&M ratcheting floor shifter in there and I had to do the mod where you cut off the center console. So there is a part of the fabric that needs to be re-attached, as it was attached by the center console before... probably not a big deal, but I wanted different seats anyhow... I also have the carpet from the cougar, besides a stain in the back footwell area, it is very nice. Since the interior is not put together right now, are there any pics in particular you wanna see? I could get a pic of the interior as it sits, but it has no door panels, headliner, or interior plastic trim panels installed right now. Have it all, but I haven't had the time to install it. I wanna get my '93 up and going first. Then I can spend some time on the '87....... If I don't sell it, I am going to rip out the fuel injection, throw on a carb, and make a drag car out of it.

Thanks,
Nate
