CFI Kickdown Rod is disconnected!!!!

HELP!

Hey All, see the pic below. The screwdriver is pointing to the kickdown rod on the driver's side of the throttlebody.  It is missing its plastic grommet to lock the rod to the throttle body.

Anyone have a clue where I can find this part?  I will check with the dealer soon, but if anyone knows if Motormite or someone makes a replacement, you will be doing me a BIG favor.  :)

just get a hairpin clip or aka a codder pin and snap it into place and it will hold it just fine.

Whaddya know, Ford actually stocks a part for this car!!!

PN# E0AZ-7F330-A
List price: $2.15

Got it for $1.29 with my business account. Since I am trying to keep this car as original as possible, this was a small price to pay for functionality and originality.  Course, I should probably get another since this one probably won't last another 20 years anyway.

Thanks everyone.

The same part the TV cable guys use? I'm amazed Ford would do something as logical as that.

No its not.  They are both different parts, and Ford now offers the TV cable in brass so it won't fail.

So they have different parts with the same part number? Odd, since it's the same number on the bag that mine came in (cable style).
