Broken engine block August 31, 2005, 05:41:26 PM So here it goes. I decided to make a new thread cause this is a new problem still reguarding th water pump. I missed a bolt and pulled alittle too hard. long story short, I can see the distributor gear through were to water pump goes. When jb weld says engine blocks, how good is that. I am pretty much screwed here. I will have to take a picture. I cracked it on the bolt that I didnt realize had a nut thingy on it. How the hell can the water pump be buffer then the engine block? ed v-6's. This may be something to junk the car over. Quote Selected
Re: Broken engine block Reply #1 – August 31, 2005, 09:04:04 PM I just looked at my 6, sounds like you broke the front cover to the motor, so i dont think you wiped out the block. lots of aluminum on these blocks, sometimes good sometimes not. Quote Selected

Re: Broken engine block Reply #6 – September 04, 2005, 11:27:51 AM havent had enough time to get to it really. Its just that I need to get a good hour or two to get the cover off of my car, and a good hour or two to get it off at the junk yard. Dosent work too well, being as the junk yard closes at 6pm and is 30+ mins away, and I get off at 5pm. I will let you guys know though. Quote Selected
