Camber Plate and Strut Bar pics

I installed my Maximum Motorsport camber plates and strut bar a few weeks ago and finally updated my cardomain site with a picture at the bottom of page 1. Also at the bottom of page 3 there's a picture of the Longacre camber/caster gage I used to set up my alignment. I'm running 2 1/4 degrees of negative camber and 4 degrees of positive caster with 1/8" toe in.

When I added the plates I confirmed a suspision that my strut towers were "tweaked" based on the computer print out from my last alignment. I have the plates in the negative orientation and can only get 2.5 degrees negative camber on the drivers side where as I could get up to 4 degrees on the passenger side. (Notice how the drivers side plate is maxed out vs. the passenger side.)

Anyway, a few more mods and I'll be ready to start autocrossing! ...and getting my arse kicked by M3's :)

Man, that's a really nice Tbird you have there.  I don't know if I'd autocross something that sweet, but go out there and give 'em hell, especially those pesky M3's!

I like the strut tower brace.  I'll be getting one soon since my header panel gets tweaked a bit from my driving habits.

I'm no expert when it comes to this stuff, but do you really think the plate on the driver side is maxed? You can you flip it and get the added adjustment you need :)

correct me if I'm wrong but that what it looks like..

Good eye, you are correct Thunder306. That picture was taken before I flipped the plates. In that picture with the plate maxed out I could get just barely 1 degree negative. On the passenger side in the positive orientation I think I could go as far as 2.5. In the negative (race) orientation I was able to go 2.5 negative on the drivers side. That's still a fair amount of static negative camber. Steering feels great but the nose will still plow through a sharp turn under heavy accelleration if I jump on the gas too early. I just need to drive within the limitations of the modified macpherson strud design and pull some weight out of the front end (...and maybe get some good sticky tires for the front;). It actually handles really good right now.

Which strut tower bar is that for? My bar interfers with the cc plates now on the passenger side. I was in the process of modifying it to work but not sure how its going to pan out..

The bar is for the Mustang. And it did interfere with the passenger side camber plate front spacer. I took my dremel tool and ground down the edge on the strut brace so the spacer would sit flat and drilled another hole for the other top mounting bolt on the passenger side strut tower. In the picture if you look at the strut brace mounting bolts on the passenger side you will see that they are right next to each other vs. how they're spaced on the drivers side.

Oh okay, mine is pretty much bent to where it needs to be, just waiting on the welder from work to give me the okay to bring it in for him to give me a nice bead around the spot I cut and moved. I might just goto home depot and buy a mig, I'm tired of waiting :(
