2009 mustang rims on a a fox bird with SN-95 spindles?

hey everyone!

I'm slowly gathering the pieces to get my 5 lug conversion underway , and my glance ended up falling on the 2009 mustang rims I have ( standard issue 16's, nothing too fancy).  I can't seem to find an answer as far as backspacing goes, but does anyone know if they will clear on my 87 Tbird after I do the 5 lug converion?

So if your 16” wheels are the V6 variety the they are 16x7 with a 5.54 back space with a +39mm offset. To see if they will work you need a know on wheel that works with the SN95 five lug conversion. One wheel is the 1997 Cobra wheel as I can confirm from personal use. That wheel is a 17x8 with a 5.72 back space with a +30mm offset. So to see the comparison we go here and plug the numbers in:

You can see that this wheel will not push in as far as the Cobra wheel but will also have better fender clearance. My guess is it will fit just fine.

Aerocoupe, you are both a gentleman, and a scholar.  Thank you, I will plan on running those as my "daily" wheels, and save myself a lot of trouble trying to track down different wheels and tires.
