Fan replacement

Noticed the fan on my 86 5.0 has some cracks. Tried searching the usual places for replacement and can't find part # or source. Any info ? is it the same as the mustang ?

Seems i read a Mustang fan will work. It will have more blades but that would be a benefit. Someone else may chime in .

They are very close but not quite the same. Thunderbird/Cougar/Mark VII fans are 7 blade fans and slightly larger than the Mustang fan, which is 9 blades.

That being said the Mustang fan fits fine and works well. I've been running one for the last decade without issue.
