2.3T Lower Intake Sensor Locations

Started swapping sensors over to my new motor, noticed I have quite a few differences between the two intakes. One is a E7 and the other is an E5, both are box style, question is where does the ACT sensor go in the E5 intake?

I assume I will just plug the coolant port on the bottom of the lower as the 88 seems to take coolant temp over by the shock tower.

Looks like I need to drill and tap that hole, or move the ACT up to where the EGR port is.

Never realized the 87-88 were the only ones to get the ACT sensor

People have also moved the ACT sensor to the intercooler piping. It really doesn't make too much of a difference.
It's Gumby's fault.

The ACT doesn't show up in the EVTMs until '87.
It is defined as the air temp after the turbo charger.
Earlier models only used the temperature sensor in the vane air flow meter.
This is defined as the air temperature before the turbo charger.
