Fuel door switch August 08, 2005, 06:37:55 PM Lately the fuel door switch inside the glove box on my 87 3.8 T-Bird has been sticking or just plain inoperable. So I went to my local auto parts store as well as Auto Zone and R&S Strauss to purchase a new one but no go it is not available. You figure it would be one of those items on the Help rack or a company such as Standard Motor products would mfg them. After all they stock other switches and relays. Apparently it is a dealer only item, I ordered one today from my local Ford dealer for a meer $14. Quote Selected
