Climate controls stuck on defrost

My climate controls are stuck on defrost no matter what i select anyone have an idea?

Manual controls?  If so, it's usually a broken vacuum line.
1986 Mercury Cougar - 2.3T/T5 swap, TC brakes and suspension and rearend, 3" exhaust, 255 lph fuel pump, Stinger BOV, Gillis MBC @ 18 psi

Vacuum leak. It will default to defrost for safety, since you've gotta see

I probably have a good working one that I could sell you if you need it. Do you have a pic of what it looks like?

i looked at it a bit more and it was a massive vacuum leak at the vacuum ball thing you got one of those?

I'm sure that I do. Gotta locate it  on my parts car though. If I remember correctly, it's under the passenger fender. The system is working fine though, so it has to be a good part. Give me a few days to get to it.
