Power Tour 2017

Power Tour is coming up and routed through Iowa for a day this year. Planning on joining up for the Newton to Quad City leg. If my brother goes we will have his 84 Cougar, if not I will take my SHO Wagon, or if my friend in Newton gets his 68 cougar ready we'll be in that. Just seeing if anyone here will be there.

I was registered for long haul with my 1966 Ford LTD, but life got in the way, i had to have some wisdom teeth out last week, wifey is having health problems this week, and we had a guy quit at work so i cant take my vacation.  It stinks, i'm a fellow Iowan, and I was planning on sleeping in my own bed for a few nights and still pulling a long haul.

Regardless, I'll be coming down on Sunday to Newton, even if i have to drive my 1995 lincoln town car.

Well if you see a white SHO wagon or a orange 67 mercury cougar stop by. I think the plan is to drive south from Newton on Sunday morning, find and good spot in the shade along side the road, set up the lawn chair and portable grille and watch the cars go by. Was planning on going Monday to the Quad Cities but my brother can't make it so probably just back home Sunday evening.

Hope to see you tomorrow man. I'll be driving my daily driver 1995 lincoln town car.  its stock as a rock with 200k, the rust is starting to keep through from winters in iowa, but i dont care.  im going to have a good time.  gotta look at the silver lining, i have a whole year to get my 66 LTD all science-d out . Heck, maybe i'll have one of my Tbirds together by then.  who knows?
