A beautiful collection of Birds

As many have seen I have posted several times about my "Thunderbird addiction" as my wife puts it.  Well a few weeks back, I added a fourth one to my garage and then this weekend, my son added another one to his collection.    I now have now owned 7 Birds 4 of which are presently in my garage.  My son has now owned 4 and has 2 now once again in his garage.  I just picked up from the second owner a very clean 87 TC 5 spd fully loaded with about 44k on the clock.  He just purchased an 88 Sport with a 5.0 with 99k on the clock.  Both are rust free cars.  I will be sharing pics of my car and will get pics of his to share as well.    But for starters, I wanted to share these first.  We had some fun yesterday playing around with the cars here at home.    I am starting to believe that this truly IS a sickness.

Nice collection. How many more before it's officially a flock?

My dad said the same thing! Said that for all the beauty of the birds, the "odd man out" should have been at the back.    Guess I'll have to round them all up again and correct the oversight.    All in fun though.    I am very proud of our collection and love to show them off.

Funny story quickly, My wife and I bought a new Taurus the end of May.    I drove one of the 86 Birds to the dealer to meet my wife.  One of the shop guys saw it, came out and proceeded to talk with me for 30 minutes or so about the car and how he had an 85 back in the day.  His buddy joined him and together they talked about how he learned to wrench on that car and eventually became a Ford Tech.  It's such a cool feeling to see someone connect to the cars like that.
