Figures..... Door chime on with door closed..... March 28, 2016, 04:43:11 PM I got off my lazy ass and decided to swap in the door lock actuator on the driver side of the Cougar. Grabbed a NOS one off EBay as the 50resto ones would last about a year and out. The door chime annoyed me to no end while swapping the actuator, so I wedged some plastic between the door and frame to shut it up. My task completed, I removed the plastic shut the door and as I walked away I heard it. The chime. I pop the door open and push the signal pin on the frame in. The chime subsides. Close door again. Chime on. I did take note that the pin on the driver side does not stick out as far as that on the passenger. Never did. Is this adjustable? I pulled it apart for now..... Quote Selected
